It appears they acquired the Stadium for 23 million and are spending 30 Million to renovate/convert from baseball to football. They wanted their own stadium, apparently, rather than being a tenant at the Falcon's stadium.
Surely Vanderbilt could redo some portions of Vanderbilt stadium over time, and even include academic buildings or other uses within the new structures.
