Tokyo? but I'm not?
After the last couple of months culminating in the last very wacky few days, I've felt a foreboding creepy feeling that you may hang up your cleats on these pages. What is it now? About 17 years that I've come to these pages most mornings to commune with other VandySports fans and read you personally? When Mike walked away from the site as a publisher it felt like a gut punch frankly. But I understand why he stopped just posting.

The other site has kept a following for almost 25 years because those users developed a personal relationship with its publisher. The content has never matched yours but as you said in another post it is about community, isn't it? We all have a fellowship with you and that's why most of us are here every morning.

Please find a way to keep it going. Please don't sell this site. It's an incredibly selfish thing to say but it's already established that, on a personal level, I'm a selfish fellow by nature. Heck, we already have a bare-bones CBS site and without you, I don't see this community moving forward.

Van Pelt said on ESPN today much what you've said about how does a person who has spent a life monitoring sports deal with these days. So understandable.

But in the end, if you must cash in your chips the end of this site will be sad but you'll have to do what is best for first and foremost, the kids. Have a great vacation if you actually see this before shoving off.
