Only John Wooden has more titles than Coach K. Richard Schmidt-really

VU really hired Schmidt over coach K. Hindsight I know 20/20 and doesn't mean coach K would of stayed or had the same success at VU but still I think the history of VU hoops in the 80s and beyond would of been slightly different and the program now would be different too

Would love to know what the powers saw in Scmidt and coach K at the time to make the choice they did.
