And look I saw the same game last night we have 4-5 MAJOR things that better improve: OL play, Swann checking down and reducing bad decisions, running game, secondary, coaching innovation etc.
What I think needs to be mentioned is that Hawaii legitimately looked pretty good. I don’t recall facing that QB last season. That Hawaii team beats Team 1 by 3 TDs.
Not trying to revisit the past but last night is when we needed Wright to keep the defense honest and Davis to fight for yards. Seems like Hawaii will go bowling this season they looked pretty legit. I don’t think we are yet at a place where we can beat a top Mountain West opponent by multiple TDs. Who is better Hawaii or UNLV?
