Caught up with in-state WR target Walker Merrill today. He told me he will be visiting Vanderbilt again soon for a practice, doesn't have a date set yet. He's been impressed with his initial conversations with new OC Todd Fitch and WR coach Tony Ball. Merrill told me he likes Fitch's offense, said "he wants to throw a lot."
Wake Forest and Louisville got visits from him last week. Both are serious contenders for him along with Tennessee and Ole Miss.
