According to Matt Fortuna at The Athletic, the Ryan Family has made a $480 million gift to Northwestern (largest in school history) for purpose of, among other matters, provide the lead gift for renovation of Ryan Field to create an improved gameday experience for students, alumni, fans. Ryan Field is 95 years old and has not been touched since 1996.
