In parenthesis is the conference tourney winner, followed by the regular-season champ, which will be in the NIT. These are "stolen bids," meaning, there's one less at-large bid available. (The last four years, there's been an average of 20 at-large bids given in the NIT):

1. OVC (Belmont/Murray State)
2. Big South (Coastal Carolina/Charleston Southern)
3. Colonial (Northeastern/William & Mary)
4. Patriot (Lafayette/Colgate)
5. Metro Atlantic (Manhattan/Iona)
6. Northeast (Robert Morris/St. Francis-NY)
7. Summit (North Dakota St./South Dakota St.)

Holding serve (conference tourney/regular season champ are the same, or where the tourney winner would have gotten an at-large anyway). At-large candidates want as many of these as possible:

1. Atlantic Sun (North Florida)
2. Missouri Valley (Northern Iowa//Wichita State)
3. Horizon (Valparaiso)
4. West Coast (Gonzaga)
5. Southern (Wofford)
