I am excited for football season, even with all the distractions and frustrations occurring around athletics support. However, I must admit to being disappointed there will be no "regular" NCC tailgates this year, per a call I had yesterday afternoon with the NCC.
I am glad they have a plan for reaching out and involving specific potential donor groups for athletic fundraising (former FB players, former alumni--probably high dollar, etc) as that may be a better investment of time and money. But our group will still miss being able to attend them.
It's too late this year to get together and purchase a Vandyville tent but maybe we'll go that route next year.
On another note, did anyone purchase a parking pass for the season that might want to sell it. They will only let you buy one, even though we have 25 tickets, and were willing to pay for 2.
