There are a couple of storylines the NCAA selection gurus could put together as well as a few players on our team I could see becoming an NCAA "darling" that everyone is talking about:
-- Storyline 1: Put us in a region where we play Michigan State, giving AJ a chance at minor revenge
-- Storyline 2: Put us up against Michigan and/or Louisville, where the pundits could discuss the off-season coaching hires making the biggest splash and let the games decide who was the best of them all
-- Storyline/Darling 3: Edwards. He's flashy and brash and crosses you over and jukes you out of your shoes and takes "bad" shots a lot that go in half the time anyway. He has an unusual, quick release and he's our basketball Diego Pavia, coming out of HS with no D1 offers - and those are WAY easier to get in hoops than football - and playing his way through JUCO to NTex to us. How and why did Byington even find this cat, and why did he believe in him when others didn't? Easy pick as someone who EVERYONE could fall in love with, especially if he embarrasses Cooper Flagg on a cross over or something.
