My fear regarding Mason is that his speeches and hype prior to games and at halftimes that we all love during revealed videos have come back to haunt. Imagine what he said for Bama only to lose by 59-0 while they took knees to avoid beating us by 66. Imagine what he said prior to the Florida game. Imagine what he said prior to the Georgia game?
I really do like Mason and decided to give him a lot of love after taking us to a bowl game (something I thought he was incapable of) and beating UTjr (ditto), but my fear is that his hype and energy may be his own worst enemy during this losing streak.
I do think we have a chance to go back to a Bowl game at 6-6 and if so, all is forgiven.
Thoughts?
Edit: to be clear, it's his message the whole week, not just pregame and halftime speeches. I'm sure his message is consistent.
