Our 3, 4, and 5 hole hitter are beginning to look like an absolute murderer’s row.

Our HR numbers aren’t eye popping but everyone is rounding into form. Brodie has 9 dongs, Nelson 6, and Holcomb has 7 now, add to that both Barczi and Vastine have 6 apiece.
Some of the things our fans were really complaining about have started to happen. We have some real pop in this lineup now and I think both Corbin and King deserve credit for the transformation.
I know we aren’t at the top of the league by any stretch but when you combine good pitching with some of the offense we’re beginning to see, you start to think we may be on to something bigger.
I still think both RJ Austin and Mancini are going to drop a few bombs before it’s all said and done as well.
But Nelson, Brodie and Holcomb could be one of the better offensive groups moving forward this postseason and hopefully next season as well.
