I saw some tweets yesterday that several things required by the MLS stadium project had been voted down; as in the stadium can't be built there. I'm not in Nashville so I don't know what the news really is. If Nashville city government is really putting the breaks on the fairgrounds site, would they relook at Vanderbilt Stadium for a new soccer/football stadium?
Does anyone know what is going on? Is the Vandy stadium being mentioned again as a site? Vandy needs to push hard for this as it could be the answer to our prayers. (I do remember Zeppos at one time several years ago talking about all the new restaurants and entertainment venues that would be opening around our stadium, when it looked like MLS might be willing to join up with our stadium)
