As you probably know, we have thought for a few weeks that Olivier Sarr, the prized center recruit, was heading to Cal. But Sarr has recently put off his decision date, and perhaps that has not-so-coincidentlally coincided with Martin's name popping up at Missouri (and maybe Illinois, too.) Martin is from East St. Louis and some have thought that he might be looking to get out of Cal.
Coaches and schools play these things so, so close to the vest that it's hard to be sure of anything. But, we had felt that Vanderbilt was runner-up for Sarr, and if Martin were to head to Cal... well, who knows?
