Just spoke with my MSU contact and he said Mingione is a very realistic possibility to be their new coach but he also said that he was told that there could be a surprise hire and he mentioned the Wake Forest coach. It may be a few days before an announcement due to the coach’s team still playing. I doubt Vitello is realistic for MSU.
