The regional starts tomorrow near Murfreesboro. I've poked around a bit and am not readily finding information about the format. Is the regional winner determined by the 54 hole stroke play total and then the regional winners go the national championship where they play match play? Or, is the national field larger than eight teams and then reduced to eight teams for the match play component?
There is also individual competition. I'd appreciate someone who knows boiling it down for us.
