First off, huge thanks to all of the Vandy fans that made the drive, endured the traffic and sat though a total mess weather wise last night. Well done!
2nd, how many Vandy fans were there? Seemed to me like about 1/4 of the total fans there, but not sure.
3rd, their fans are more lame than ours are. We were in shock at how bad their crowd was. Our guess was that a lot of their anti Vandy fans are actually UTjr fans, therefore they opted to watch the UTjr - Arky game instead of going to the MTSU-VU game.
4th, I thought our crowd was good and active all things considered. Once we mounted our comeback, our crowd was going bananas and it was glorious.
5th, I know several of the Vandy fans left when we got down 10, then when we had to punt down 10, but a buddy and I stuck it out (against my better judgement) and boy were we rewarded. There isn't much better than being in a road stadium, after a win, when the boys come over and sing the Alma Mater.
Thoughts?
Could you hear or see us us on tv?
