I chatted briefly with the three-star prospect from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian on Sunday night about his recruitment and it's basically boiled down to this:
USC offered in the last few days and now he's torn between the Trojans and Vanderbilt.
Owusu, who is being recruited for defensive end but also plays wide receiver, has already visited USC and said it was "amazing." He still plans to visit Vanderbilt this weekend and then figure out what works best for him leading up to signing day.
"I was offered a scholarship to USC a few days ago and I thought I would check out the campus," Owusu said. "It was amazing. I am currently battling between USC and Vanderbilt."
