In two and half weeks, the Knicks will have to make a roster cut. Combo guard Ron Baker and 7-foot center Luke Kornet are the two candidates unless they trade away a player, such as Damyean Dotson, for draft picks.
Kornet was recalled Thursday after cleaning it up in the G-League for Westchester, averaging 18 points and 8.9 rebounds in 10 games. The Knicks are more in need of depth at center than shooting guard.
