Everyone is football focused, so maybe this question will be relevant.
Why in the world are we scheduling a home game with Kansas State to start at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon on the SAME DAY that the Titans and Texans kick off at 12 p.m.? It's the same frustration for me with our early season games which conflict with the high school football playoffs on Friday nights with 50 something Middle Tennessee teams competing in the first round.
I will be there, and my family will fight the traffic to get across town and make it early. But why oh why don't we move this game time? It really irritates me as a fan that we aren't more aware of our surrounding events.
