Just talked to the newest Vanderbilt commit, who was kind enough to chat with us during his layover at the airport. The Shawnee (Okla.) WR was extremely impressed with the city of Nashville and what Vanderbilt had to offers. He told me the football team really embraced him and treated him like one of their own and that was a huge factor in his decision. During the end of his one-on-one talk with Derek Mason, he let him know he was ready to be a Commodore.
