The Commodores appear to be reaching out to a couple of JUCO defensive lineman in Howard Houston, a 6-foot-2, 290-pound defensive tackle from Foothill (Calif.) and Harneet Gill, a 6-foot-6, 265-pound defensive end from Pierce College (Calif.).
Gill originally signed with Missouri as an offensive lineman in the class of 2013 before going the JUCO route on the West Coast. During his time at Pierce, he played along the offensive line and at tight end before injuries along the defensive line gave him a shot at defensive end, where he really excelled during the latter half of the season. He currently has offers from Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Louisiana-Lafayette, and UTSA according to Rivals.
Houston is rated as a JUCO top ten defensive tackle and has offers from Georgia St, Hawai'i, Louisiana-Lafayette, South Dakota, SE Missouri State, SE Louisiana, and Texas Southern according to Rivals. However, it appears that Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Tulsa, and Oklahoma are showing some interest in him as well.
