While we want to go on and on about a new stadium , which is not going to happen, we shouldn’t lose sight of the magnificent plans VU has for the entire campus.
It will be second to none in terms of student focus, features and luxury. While I went to VU, I can’t think of a nicer campus than Stanford or UNC (we’ll all have our own biases) but I think VU is going to be one of the absolute best.
This has to be a huge selling point to kids who are anywhere close to the Vanderbilt men we expect to sign. If a kid doesn’t respond to what we will have, he’s probably not VU material anyway.
I think upgrading the area around the stadium to be more student and fan friendly, upgrading technical luxuries at the stadium, possibly upgrading seating quality and building better support facilities along with the amazing campus improvements could be the winning hand here. And could be feasible.
