Beating UT is like some sort of narcotic. It is so extraordinarily satisfying. I am still in a state of euphoria. Remember when Chris Lee asked Corey Chavous about CDM and he immediately he gushed about the UT wins? He’s right. Today’s podcast also touched on the subject. Chris and Mitch talked about how Vandy fans were so down during for that period during the late 1990s that they didn’t really want to go to the games even 20yrs later?
Then you see blatant targeting and it reminds you how dirty of a program they are. So glad we get to see Vaughn for likely one more game. Then you see the “Last Tackle” video. These people are ridiculous. UT football controls that school. Maybe moreso than any other school in the country.
Then you hear that Garland is more like week to week instead of done with his Vanderbilt career. We may or may not take a hit in the W-L column in the interim. But we get to see hopefully a full strength lineup in January. That is fantastic.
Then there’s our National Championship run in ⚾️........
