Nothing to do with the pledge of allegiance. I support freedom of expression and don't care if they sit, stand, kneel, or play Tiddlywinks while people recite it. The way they (sort of) played basketball was offensive.
I went to the gym early enough to watch them (sort of) play basketball in the second half. Yes, some of the players were on the bench tonight: 4 of them. Not sure if they were in the doghouse or injured or a combination of the two, but the ones who played (sort of) looked like a glorified junior college women's team. There was a stretch when mtsu missed a ton of FT;s in a row and we couldn't put a dent into their lead. It wasn't much fun to watch, even for free. One of our decent players fouled out early in the 3rd quarter. Others constantly dribble into double teams and turn the ball over at the drop of a hat or commit charging fouls. The way they played was an affront to the game of basketball..
