With whatever happens in this series. Yes, I want to win. Yes, I expect to win. But baseball can be a funny sport and the best team doesn't always win (ask the 1995 Cleveland Indians about this).
Regardless of what happens, this season has been a hell of a ride. The fact that we are in a position to win back to back national titles is unprecedented. This class of draftees this year have brought me 3 of the best years as a VU baseball fan. Just look at this 3 year run. Hell, if not for Louisville, we may be sitting here talking about a 3-peat. Again, that's baseball.
So I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy watching these kids play for hopefully just two more games in a winning effort. They're truly special. Moments like this don't happen all too often. So I'm going to cherish them.
