Again he inherited our program at it's all-time zenith and now we are absolutely pathetic. I keep thinking of Duke in whatever period that was when like 2-8 teams would be playing their backups in the 3rd quarter against Duke they were so bad. When you heard the term "Duke Football" you'd just kinda laugh sadly. That's how bad we are, and that entire fall was during Mason's tenure. So long-term anything is possible, but I worry this will be far from a short-term culture fix, which incidentally no matter who we land as a head coach that's the word you will keep hearing ad infinitum "culture" and "change the culture." My point being it's going to take much more than that and likely 2-3 years at best to even appear back on a radar. Whatever the opposite of sustainably winnable, that is where we seem to be right now. It's sad.
