Honestly if Derrick Mason were the head coach after firing the OC from last year as is the current case and if Derrick Mason were to bring in Gus Malzahn as OC this year, everything else being equal, would people still think that the team would go 0 and 13? We have a completely or almost a completely new core set of coaches.
It is almost as if we had fired Derrick Mason and brought in a new staff. I simply do not get the gloom.
