I didn’t look to see how many players transferred out of Hawaii but I think they lost a lot.
on the flip side, they signed 13 transfers with approximately half of them coming from power 5 conferences.
Some things to watch in my opinion are:
1) how do we start the game. This of course was a real issue for us last year. Do we come out with a tentative/conservative game plan on both sides of the ball because of all the unknowns?
2) (someone else mentioned this is in another thread but I agree). once we see what kind of offense and defense they are running, how well does our staff make the correct adjustments?
3) how do all the transfers help them? 2 were QB’s and one was a 4 star coming out of HS.
*I would feel much better if we had Elon first and then at least one game film on Hawaii and played them second.
