Georgis’s pitching was better than Vandy’s hitting. When you look at the disparity between their team batting average compared to Vanderbilt coming into the series, you might think we had the edge. They pitched better than we did , and that was enough. They remind me of some past Corbin teams that had great weekend starters but didn't score many runs. The cliche is generally true: good pitching beats good hitting.
