Most of us absolutely knew that there would be games like today again Kent State. Most of us said that we expected to look out of sorts in a couple of non conference games, even early in the SEC season, before this team gelled. We knew it would be a process of learning to play together.
We haven't really played a good game yet this season. So, is a bad game against an inferior opponent that a VU team made up of exactly 3 players (Lee, Toye, Brown) that played significant minutes together last year, the end of the world? Nope.
Losing Darius was a blow, no doubt. And it will be terrible if it's more than a couple of games. But, let's not overreact either. Even with Darius, we anticipated having a couple of games like this. So, let's stop all of the CBD can't coach bs right now.
This is still a very young and inexperienced team learning to play with each other, with or without DG. We will be a good team in February, count on it.
