Yeah, we weren't good last night. Corners and oline were absolutely atrocious. But that QB was on fire and made some spectacularly accurate throws. Hawaii is world's better than last year.
I think the pass rush will improve when we get to full strength. That will help ghe secondary. Hight will have some growing pains but we have no choice but to play him. Russell is bad and has zero confidence. Mahoney didn't have a great game but I felt a lot better when he was back there in nickel coverage.
Our oline may not be fixable, unfortunately. We just have no talent. I will be shocked if Swann makes it through the season unscathed. It doesn't help that he does not have the best pocket presence. But he made some unbelievable Cutler-esque throws. Making this unit marginally respectable will be the true test of the ability of this staff. If they can play at a decent level, we can match last year's wins.
