I have been waiting for years for us to have an offense that could score 25+ points against most Sec opponents. Now that we do, our D has fallen apart. If we had defense that our team has had over the last five years we would only have two losses right now. (I believe Bama and UGA have historically good teams this year and no VU could beat those two.)
I would love to know people’s thoughts on why our defense has fallen off so much this year.
I know we lost two NFL players but is it a lack of leadership on the Defensive side or did the Bama game take such a toll on us physically, emotionally and confidence wise?
