My wife and I are first time season ticket holders. Last night was our first taste of Memorial Magic. It was a terrific experience for us! The place was clean, the new backboards were great, and, although the crowd was a bit lighter than I expected, the crowd enthusiasm was pretty awesome. Oh, and the team showed some of the potential it has. Simi and Darius were really special. As noted in other threads, the defense needs improving. Seemed to me that Coach was on top of it all. Winthrop coach was definitely a “whiner” and finally got rewarded for it with a technical late in the game. I have watched most of Vandy’s bb games over the last 20 years on TV. Nothing like being there in person!! This is going to be a special awesome team!!!
