VU needed to play a perfect game to win. We did not and still had every opportunity. The dropped TD pass was a back breaker. The 46 yd. FG miss was almost as big. That 3 pointer would have left us with a 35 yd. try to win as time expired.
My concern is the miss was a shank and not one that did not hook or sailed right.
