I want to hear from the board, are there any other teams in the SEC that you would be willing to root for, provided they aren't playing Vanderbilt? If you were to rank the other schools 1-13, who do you at least get close to not hating?
For me, it's Arkansas. They came into the SEC in the early 90's and provided stiff competition to UK in those days. Nolan Richardson, along with Corliss Williamson and Scott Thurman, got to a bunch of Final Fours and won the Natty in 1994 over Duke, no less. Additionally, as a student at Vandy I did my work-study for 4 years at the Environmental Health & Safety office and my boss was an Arkansas alum, so I found myself pulling for them because of him. He was a cool boss and we still keep in touch.
