Hey everyone,
Some of you may know me from TDR as “Boston George.” I have been on this board for nearly a year and am a proud Vanderbilt 2013 alum. I am involved with the Boston Chapter and I am a die hard Vanderbilt sports fan. I try to call in to the George Plaster show and talk about Vandy sports when i have the opportunity.
I covered Vandy sports as an undergrad for the Hustler and served as a beat writer for the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Chatham Anglers in the summer of 2012. Right after I graduated, I did some freelance work for the Murfreesboro Post.
I’ll be doing some fan opinion columns about Vandy sports and the fan base in general. A huge thank you to Will, Trevor, and the rest of the TDR guys for inviting me to come on board. Lot 2 is a special place and the Hawaii and Georgia Tech tailgates were electric. It’s been a dream of mine to write about Vandy sports after college and it’s an honor to be a part of the TDR community.
My hope is to be an advocate for the fans and to promote discussion within the fan base about important topics. If there’s anything you’re interested in discussing, let me know.
