It sucks that Maddux has no college coaching experience but he would be a really good coach. One of the things I love about Maddux is that he loves to run and shoot. I heard an interview with him recently where he was saying his teams would lead the nation in three point attempts and makes. He likes to get a good look within the first 10 seconds of the shot clock.
Maddux is also a quality guy and great leader. He would really be a good college coach.
That said, no way anybody at this level offers him a shot. If Drew did want a shot, he would have to sit on the bench for a few years. I somewhat doubt he ever goes that route though because he's in complete control at CPA as the men's bball coach and Athletic Director. I would guess he's paid around $300,000.
