Long ago I accepted the fact that I would be at or near the bottom when it came to perks like bowl tickets, etc. Now, I really can't complain much because I have pretty much always received tickets to things like post-season games. I think it is because I have held season tickets for 40+ years. I used to be a Commodore Club member with a yearly donation under the old system. Now of course I pay the extortion fee to the Commodore Club on top of the ticket price. But because I simply am not financially able to contribute to VU otherwise, I don't think I rank very high. As Freidas_Boss mentioned, those of us who buy tickets and actually attend games receive little credit from VU for doing that. I am at games whether it is hot or cold; wet or dry, whether the team is good or not-so-good. (To be honest, if it is under 40 degrees or so, I may skip an early season baseball game) I realize that money rules the day but it does bother me some that those who donate a sizeable amount receive mid-field seats for bowl games and first crack at infield seats for post-season baseball when during the regular season, their attendance is can be spotty to say the least. Now that fans' attendance at games can be tracked, I'd like to see VU place more importance and award more points to those of us long-time season ticket holders that actually attend nearly every single game during the regular season. Oh, by the way, BEAT GEORGIA TECH!
