Dayton is going to spend 72 million from donations and school money to upgrade their basketball arena. If they can do it, why can't we use our SEC money and upgrade Dudley. Maybe we need to go after a large company and give them naming rights to the field. Companies pay HUGE money for this type of advertising.
Just getting tired of seeing other universities spend money on their athletic departments and we are still trying to figure out where Vandy is spending any money at all. Maybe if we could get all of the fans to not show up for the 2017 home games, this would send a message. Maybe the powers to be can open mouth and insert foot. That would be a good SEC commercial instead of some students singing on the sidewalk with Zeppos.
We have some of the best coaches in the country leading our young men and women in one of the top conferences in the nation. Time to start acting like it.
