Depending on who wins this year, the WORST Vandy could be is 2nd behind Coastal (43% to 40%.)
Now that I have the CWS Records page pulled up on NCAA.com here’s some more info with respect to all-time CWS records.
The only team with a better CWS title % than Vandy is USC, 57%. [Remember: USC=Southern Cal, USCjr=South Carolina, UT=Texas, UTjr=Tennessee, VUjr=me]
That will be hard to catch but if Corbs wins the next 2 titles his % will jump to 57% and it will all come down to the next decimal place but let’s not get ahead of ourselves; we’ll worry about that when we get there so be patient, grass-hop-pah.
