Provided the weather clears up, the Beginning of the End of Nazism will begin tomorrow, which will then lay the seeds of neo-Nazism which will also end soon enough, hopefully.
Yesterday saw Arkansas’ Gage Wood throw a no-hitter and come within one pitch of a perfect game.
It was truly a masterful pitching performance but I continue to think Kumar’s gem against Duke was even better given that I personally witnessed that game while keeping score (I saved it to show to my future grandson pitcher as a way of supporting him working hard to someday pitch for Vandy and do the same. A man can always dream.)
We get extra baseball today as the late game on Monday was rained out and picks up today in the 4th inning at 10 am CDT on ESPN.
Consequently, we’ll likely experience 10+ hours of college baseball today, weather permitting.
LSU ended up burning their #2 ace pitcher, while UCLA’s starter had already been knocked out. LSU leads 5-3.
Next up comes the regularly scheduled games: Louisville vs. Oregon State again, then the LSU-UCLA loser gets to play a 2nd game against Arkansas.
