Caught the last 2/3s of AD CSL on Marty and McGee. Candice was personable and well spoken. She represented the school well.
At one point, Candice spoke about her early experience at VU as a basketball player. VU won the SEC in her time. She spoke about winning and how important and how fun that was. She emphasized the importance of winning.
She was asked about the obstacles at Vanderbilt. She replied with the opportunities that Vanderbilt uniquely provides for elite student-athletes. She pointed to Tim Corbin as an example of how to succeed at VU. McGee then referred to a private conversation he had with Tim Corbin. Tim supposedly said a VU athlete may have to navigate the possibility that he may be the dumbest person in the classroom. I doubt that Tim would ever say anything like that.
Overall it was a good interview.
