This has been a fun season because winning is just more fun. Duh! Upsets are great and having legitimate hope every week feels almost unnatural as a Vanderbilt fan. That being said, can they do it again next season? How many times have we gotten star players back who were unable to replicate the prior season? I recall a few times where we got the RB, WR, or even QB to come back and they did not excel like many expected. I have to wonder if this year's success had a lot to do with teams overlooking Vanderbilt and the uniqueness of having a dual threat QB. Did the last few games give a blueprint on how to handle Pavia and company?
No doubt that my fear is the result of many seasons of being a Vanderbilt fan. Next season worries me greatly.
