Vanderbilt can be welcomed to the bubble now after a 87-74 win at Florida. The Commodores swept the Gators and also have home wins over Texas A&M and Alabama. However, they already have 11 losses, including ones to Arkansas and Mississippi State on the road.
Florida's tournament hopes are now in danger. The Gators have just two top 50 RPI wins in nine tries and lost at Tennessee and at home to Florida State in addition to the sweep by Vandy. There may be a lot of pressure on that home game with Kentucky sandwiched between a couple of must win road games.
