Although I have got to admit, he knows how to coach a college basketball team, I have never been much of a Bruce Pearl fan. But--there is a video on X of someone bringing Bruce his grandson during what may be a post-game interview session on the court with fans in the background. The absolute joy in Bruce's face is just great to see. I guess all grandparents would react the same way but many times I think we as fans forget that that these coaches have lives outside of basketball and in many ways, it is no different than our lives. I don't know but watching that scene just gave me a good feeling.
