Another 2017 Mid-State offer

Vanderbilt also offered 2017 Beech linebacker Jacob Phillips. Phillips camped at Vanderbilt multiple times last summer, and he was one of the better looking linebacker prospects at the camps. Phillips already has offers from OIe Miss and Tennessee.

I got to see Phillips in action against Wilson Central earlier in the year. He is gifted athletically, but he is a bit raw.
