Adam Butler just signed a 16M Extension with Las Vegas, with 11M guranteed. good for him, dude was a dawg at Vandy despite being used in the most questionable way possible while here, glad to see him getting to cash in on his talent.
It looks like Oren Burks and Dayo are about to cash in heavily too.
Has there ever been a collection of talent that was as misused as what we had on Derek Mason's defenses?
In 7 years he managed to field 1 Elite Defense and that was on the back of the best LB in the country. And if you look at how many of his guys latched on in the NFL for some period of time, its wasnt a talent issue. it was 100% a scheme issue.
And thats not even counting how he wasted talent that had been left behind by the prior staff (Justice for Caleb Azubike)
I just can imagine what Butler, Burks, Dayo and several others would've done in Shoop or Lea's defense
