If we get to 7-3 and 4-2 in the league we are looking at better bowl games, still a fighting chance for top quarter of the league finish and sustained momentum.
Beyond that winning this game exorcises another demon in a losing streak to SC. It would nullify any notion we had lucky breaks. They just finished pounding A&M and have a nasty DL. It makes the UT showdown approach epic territory.
I feel like we will avoid a letdown and make this a real contest if we have a healthy backfield.
