3 more SEC wins guarantees a national seed, right?

I am, admittedly, ignorant when it comes to the seeding process in the baseball tourney but i would assume that 3 more conference wins (maybe less) would ensure a national seed regardless of what happens in the conference tournament. Is that a safe assumption?
