Hamilton visited Vanderbilt back in January, he is the younger brother of current Vanderbilt cornerback Elijah Hamilton.
Here is what Jackson had to say about his interest in Vandy:
"I'm very interested in their program because my brother, Elijah, is currently playing there. They also have great academics, which one of the things I'm looking for in a school. It also gives me a chance to compete in the SEC."
Most schools are recruiting Hamilton as an safety/outside linebacker. During his junior season, he tallied 66 tackles, nine tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception. Hamilton has other notable offers from Louisville, Boston College, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Virginia.
